Busy Bee Book Club Spotlight
There is nothing a book lover loves more than learning about a good book—except, of course, reading one. Like all book lovers, we find it hard to pick our next read because there are so many good books to select from. So we decided that they all deserve a bit of love. To that end, we give you the Reading List, our monthly go-to post for our top book recommendations, which will also be listed in our Hivebrary.

Earthflown

Hearts Still Beating

The Prospects

As the two grow closer, the tension between them turns electric, and their chemistry spills past the confines of the stadium. For every tight double play they execute, there's also a glance at summer-tan shoulders or a secret shared, each one a breathless moment of possibility that ignites in Gene the visceral, terrifying kind of desire he's never allowed himself. Soon, Gene has to reconcile the quiet, minor-league-sized life he used to find fulfilling with the major-league dreams Luis makes feel possible.
Withered

Noah Frye Gets Crushed

When Noah finds herself caught in a lie about having a boy crush of her own, she decides she'll do anything to fit in with her friends again—even if that means using the scientific method. Noah's crush experiment is find a boy, fake a crush until it turns real, and get her friends back. But that might be easier said than done, especially when Noah can't stop thinking about Jessa. What ensues is a hilarious and heartwarming turn of events in this queer contemporary middle grade story about friendship, first crushes, and self-discovery.

Gender Queer

Started as a way to explain to eir family what it means to be nonbinary and asexual, Gender Queer is more than a personal story: it is a useful and touching guide on gender identity—what it means and how to think about it—for advocates, friends, and humans everywhere.
Malice
